This summer, for the first time, Hormesis & Oliver Lang are coming to your home field! The Hormesis Tour Bus will be pulling up with Limited Bands & Merch and debuting our new 1v1 Formats. This is a weekend to celebrate paintball and hang out, even if you are not playing in the event. This is a great chance to network and meet the paintball community around you — we look forward to meeting you all.

THE JOUST - Takes place on Saturdays

The Joust is a team 1v1 format that can be played up to 20 v 20. The Magnificent Vs The Glorious. Each team has a lead General who is a prominent player in your area. This is an opportunity to come out play 1v1 and get coached up by local pros/peers & Oliver himself. Come out and fine tune your game in a friendly atmosphere, compete and have a blast. All sorts of prizes and awards will be handed for various reasons during the Joust come out and be one of the first to experience it!

THE DUEL - Takes place on Sundays

Are you the best Gunfighter in America? $10,000 is on the line in the Search for the best. This summer, Hormesis paintball is coming to a field near you to crown the best Duelers in 8 different regions of America. If you succeed, you will be recognized as your region's champion, bathed in Hormesis, and invited to the Grand Finale. The Grand Finale awaits this fall for winners to compete for the glory of being crowned the Top Dueler in America and walk away with $10,000 cash. Will it be an athletic, hungry upcoming player or a seasoned, savvy veteran crowned champion? We will find out the answer this summer.

THE JOUST

• Multi player 1 vs 1 
• Two teams (Max players 20 on 20) 40 people total per each joust. Teams are called:

• Each team will be designated 1 general each.
• As Field owner you need to choose a general to head up each team, this person should be someone that knows your paintball scene/talent the best
• General will be the leader of each team 
• They will decide who plays and when.
• Having to play all players before they can repeat players.
• Each general will have 1 trump card (more below)
• Each team will need to coach, pit crew, help and assist each other for a smooth on time match.
• 1/2 amount of paint will be allotted to each team depending on participants 
• Example : 20 players 10 cases of paint.
• All divisions, all ages, all genders.
  1 hr match 
• No race points 
• No mercy rule 
• 20 secs between each point.
• Switching sides after each 5 points.
• 2 time outs 
• 2 1 min 
• Guns will be capped at nxl 10 bps 
• Shooting chrono  speed of 280 fps 
• No paint limit is carried out but must be mindful of teams allotted amount.
• Player must start in starting area booth feet in the designated box, gun down.
• When player wins he will stay on until he has lost.
• General will receive 1 trump card per match allowing the extract player if he is winning to much.
• There will be crowd participation, talking, counter coaching, loud mouthing will be allowed.
• No prizes will be awarded for joust.

THE DUEL:

• This is a single contender 1 vs 1 
• Open to all players Semi Pro and below in rank
• Each participant cam have 1 coach and up to 2 pit crew this will be the participants duty to supply for themselves.
• The participant is asked to have prepared for a smooth match (pit crew is HIGHLY recommended)
• Two guns 
• Two masks
• Two packs 
• The participant is only allowed a max 5 case amount of paint per match.
• There is no paint limited to play (usually only 1/ 2 pods and loader is carried).
• Gun will be set to nxl standards 
• Chronograph speed will be 280 fps 
• Player must start in starting box both feet inside and gun down below waist.
• Match will be 20 mins 
• 20 secs between each point 
• Switching sides after each 5 points.
• each players coach will have 
• 2 time outs 
• 1 min each.
• Race to 10 points 
• Must win by 2 points 
• Or first one to 15 
• Mercy rule 0-7
• There will be no sideline coaching or audience participation.
• Winner will be bathed in Hormesis Swag ….
• Winner will win a spot at the grand finale (Fall 2023 , location and time will be released later) For a chance to win 10K and be known as the greatest elite dueler.
• Participant will need to pay all expenses to attend event.
