The baseball bat symbolizes the Great American pastime which is fun, lighthearted and exciting. The spirit of the game of baseball was alive in the Ironkids as the team bonded, traveled and competed just like many baseball teams from little league to professional. These headbands are a nod to the locations of the tournaments that the Ironkids competed in as well as some of the players that played or had a direct influence on the team. Remembering the locations of the events rekindles fun memories of travel and goofing around on the road. Piling into rental vans, cramming 6 people in one hotel room and eating junk food. These experiences are shared by almost all tournament paintball players and when I look back at all the fun times it’s the non paintball memories that are the most vivid.
